Aqua Gains SafeContractor Accreditation

Aqua Heating Hire has received accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for achieving excellence in the workplace for health and safety.

The leading third-party Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation scheme is designed to recognise highly rigorous standards within health and safety management amongst contractors. Thousands of companies use the scheme in the UK, including SMEs as well as FTSE 100 companies.

For Aqua Hire, the SafeContractor accreditation demonstrates its ongoing commitment to safety, and illustrates that a set standard is achieved across the business. Aqua already have CHAS (Contractor’s Health and Safety Scheme) accreditation and employees undertake CDM (Construction and Design Management) training.

Shaun Tribbeck, Aqua’s Quality, Health & Safety Manager explains: “This latest accreditation gives a stamp of approval from Alcumus SafeContractor that our operations are running safely and smoothly across the business. It is only given to companies that pass an audited process on health and safety, property safety and risk management”.

This latest accreditation gives further peace of mind to clients of how highly regarded safety is when Aqua’s engineers are attending and working on their sites and amongst their own employees and other contractors. Aqua’s Managing Director, Kevin Lancaster, explains: “Health and safety is something we take extremely seriously at Aqua Cooling, and we’re delighted to be able to demonstrate to our customers that they can put their total trust in us and the way that we operate.”

Who Cares? Aqua Hire Do!

When a national charity for young people in care found its Christmas party would be without Heating, temperature control specialists Aqua Cooling stepped in to help.

Who Cares? Scotland is a charity that provides independent support to young people in care and Care Leavers. Each year it hosts a Christmas Day gathering for the young people it works with to make sure no one has to be alone during the festive season.

The problem the charity faced in December was that its venue did not have adequate heating and all the companies they called quoted them enormous costs to heat the space. That was until they contacted Aqua Cooling’s hire division which offered to supply four of its infrared electric heaters to the venue free of charge.

James Fry who heads up Aqua’s hire division, said: “It’s awful to think that young people could be alone at such a time of year if they didn’t have somewhere warm to meet. I know they had been in touch with other companies and the costs had been really high, so it seemed a nice thing to do to supply and deliver our heaters free of charge.”

Heaters are just a small part of a range of cooling and Heater Hire equipment available from Aqua Cooling Hire. Their hire fleet also includes boilers, chillers, air conditioning units and ancillaries. The minimum hire period is just one week and equipment can be delivered and installed nationwide.

Aqua Turns Up The Heat As Temperatures Cool

After launching their new equipment hire service earlier this year, Hampshire-based cooling specialist Aqua Cooling, has now added Heating equipment to their rental fleet.

The company’s new heating hire division, Aqua Heating Hire, offers a range of Heaters, Boilers, Fuel management Services and Ancillary equipment to ensure clients have their heating requirements well and truly covered as the winter months close in.

Aqua’s Hire division offers temporary, or longer term rental options for clients for whom outright equipment purchase isn’t the most suitable solution.

Kevin Lancaster, Aqua Cooling Director, explains: “When we officially launched the Aqua Cooling Hire brand our longer-term strategy was always to complement our portfolio of cooling equipment with heating products. We pride ourselves on offering clients a complete solution so being able to service cooling and heating requirements was a natural progression.”

Aqua Hire offer a minimum rental period of just one week on both their Heating and Cooling equipment and can have equipment delivered next day, across the UK. A team of dedicated Hire engineers help clients with initial product selection, site survey, onward delivery and installation, as well as offering full support post-delivery.

Aqua Launch New Hire Website

Hampshire-based cooling specialist Aqua Cooling has launched a new equipment Hire service designed to provide a wider range of options for existing and potential customers.

The Queen’s Award-winning engineering company’s latest initiative is part of a long-term strategy that focusses on ongoing growth and increasing Aqua’s employee headcount.

Aqua Cooling Hire provides variable-length rental arrangements for customers looking to hire their cooling equipment as opposed to making an outright purchase.

The company’s new Hire division offers an extensive range of Aqua’s innovative products including chillers, air conditioners, adiabatic and air blast coolers, as well as ancillary equipment such as tanks and pumps to help clients get up and running with minimal disruption, as quickly as possible.

Expand To Heating Hire

Aqua plans to expand its rental offering over the coming months to include heating equipment.

Kevin Lancaster, Aqua Cooling Director, said: “We’re delighted to be officially launching the Aqua Cooling Hire brand. For some of our clients hiring is definitely the best option and, although we have always offered rental and lease hire options within our product portfolio, this new business structure is designed to position the company as a leading name in the rental market.”

The new Aqua Hire service offers flexible rental terms, both short and long term, ideal for clients’ seasonal requirements, increasing production capacity, equipment testing or emergency breakdown scenarios. Longer term contract leasing can bring added benefits, including tax efficiency, simplified budgeting and minimal initial outlay for clients.

Aqua have a team of dedicated hire engineers in place to help clients with equipment selection, site surveys, delivery and installation as well as offering around the clock support seven days a week.
