Exhaust Tube or Spot Cooler Hire units are air conditioners that circulate cold air within a room to lower the ambient temperature.
There are two ways that the heat is then transferred and discharged out of the room. Our “exhaust” or “ET” type Spot Cooler Hire units simply blow it through an Exhaust Tube.
The second way involves splitting the unit into two and situating one part of it externally.
This is called a “split” type – click here for more details on the Aqua range of Split – Portable Air Conditioners PAC.
Normally, the Exhaust Tube itself is directed out of a nearby window.
However, in some scenarios, it is possible to remove the heat via an unused space or, for example, a suitable ceiling void.
If you have any questions over Exhaust Tube Unit Hire selection and/or installation then one of our engineers will happily visit site for a free, no obligation site evaluation.

Lightweight and Manoeuvrable
Our hot air Exhaust Tube Coolers are lightweight, easy to manoeuvre into place and offer full climate control and an easy to program LCD display. The smallest available model is extremely compact in design, making it ideal for an office environment where space is so often at a premium. In addition, temperatures can be maintained automatically by cleverly designed thermostat controls.
We also offer units with an integral condensate tank, meaning there’s no requirement for a water drainage pipe, making installation very straightforward. Equally, if you wish to locate a unit away from where the cooling is actually required, flexible cold air ducting can be connected.
Our calculator tool will quickly help you determine an approximate heating and/or cooling capacity for comfort cooling purposes. You simply enter a few key facts and then press “calculate” for a guide figure which is often helpful for initial planning purposes.
To get an exact calculation you’ll need to factor in other variables, for example any HVAC equipment already on site. Our hire specialists are highly trained and experienced in a range of cooling and heating applications. They’ll help you every step of the way, from working out capacity required and product selection right through to getting the right equipment on site.
